Registered Nurse - RN - NICU - Part-Time
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient and family centered care in the NICU Department for all patient populations.
Roles during this phase of care focus on assessing the patient and developing a plan of care designed to meet the physical, psychological, educational, and sociocultural needs of the patient and family.
This includes validation of existing information and completion of preparation of the patient.
PT 7A Provides evaluation of assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
Provides assistance to nursing peers as requested.
Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the nursing field.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Bachelor's degree is preferred; associate's degree is required Registered Nurse Certification 6mos - 1 year experience required (Critical care or Intensive care is preferred) Family Environment A facility where exceptional care is provided and nurses can feel valued again!
