Responsibilities:
Prepare new hire paperwork, contracts, and orientation materials.
Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
Organize and file employment-related documents, such as contracts, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Support benefits enrollment processes and assist employees with inquiries.
Collaborate with benefits providers to resolve issues and update information.
Maintain benefits records and assist with open enrollment initiatives.
Assist in the development and communication of HR policies and procedures.
Monitor compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Participate in audits and assist with maintaining compliance documentation.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Escalate complex employee concerns to the appropriate HR personnel.
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
Generate HR reports and analytics on various metrics, such as turnover, and new hires.
Assist in analyzing HR data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
Participate in HR projects related to process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve HR-related goals.
Required Qualifications One (1) year of previous complete human resources related duties.
Associate's degree in human resources, business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Customer-focused attitude with the ability to maintain positive employee relations.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.
Employment contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and credit check.
Preferred Qualifications Two (2) or more years of experience in a human resources position Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
This position is located in Flowood, MS.
The employee will report daily to our corporate location.
