As a Court Cost Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of court costs and fees, contributing to the smooth functioning of the judicial system.

Responsibilities:
Accurately calculate, record, and process court costs and fees into customers' accounts via the legal system.
Ensure that all transactions are handled securely, adhering to procedures and regulations.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of court costs, fees, and financial transactions.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
Prepare and distribute invoices for court costs to appropriate parties.
Monitor outstanding balances.
Prepare electronic transfers, payments, and check runs.
Deliver professional and courteous customer service, both in person and over the phone.
Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to court costs and fees.
Ensure compliance with applicable guidelines and generate accurate reports as required.
Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive financial information and court records.
Perform all other duties as requested.
Required
Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age.
High School degree or equivalent certification.
Data entry experience Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office products.
Exceptional communication skills.
Able to learn computer programs.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Possess strong attention to detail.
Ability to identify errors, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain precise financial documentation.
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
Excellent time management and organizational skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to explain court cost procedures and policies clearly.
Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and the overall functioning of the judicial system is advantageous.
Strong mathematical skills to accurately handle transactions.
Comfortable working with numbers and performing calculations manually or using calculators.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Experience with Dynamics 365, Perceptive Content, and Docuware softwares.
Location:
The position is located in Flowood, MS.
The employee will report daily to our corporate location.
